Homer Invaded
Nov 30th 2010www.doingbusinessinhomer.comGeneral Information
We’ve written about how quaint and lovely Homer is with its expansive open spaces and friendly occupants (human and animal alike), but it seems that serene Homer has recently been invaded with the likes of Hollywood and Sarah Palin as they both descended to film Palin’s TLC channel reality show. When camera and crew spotted an enormous “Worst Governor Ever” some drama ensued which can be viewed on YouTube (an interesting 1.50 minutes to say the least). Fortunately it seems that in spite of Palin’s YouTube fame she created little stir while actually visiting Homer since HomerNews.com reported that a “small crowd of about 10 people gathered outside the Fish Pitchin’ Kitchen after filming was done to get autographs and pose for pictures with Palin.” We hope she goes away as quietly as she came so Homer can once again be considered the “end of the road” and not the opening of a political hot bed.
